Written in Blood was born out of a deep commitment to historical truth and creative expression. By transforming the documented final words, letters, and prison verse from Britain’s capital punishment era (1868–1964) into contemporary songs, we preserve and honour the voices that history almost forgot. Our mission is to let these authentic words resonate today through music and art without alteration or invention.
